ELF Map
One tool that can be helpful to both instructional designers and learning facilitators is a one-page "cheat sheet" which provides an overview of an ideal flow of events within a single learning session. This "map" of experiential learning facilitation could look something like this.
(Calling it an "ELF Map" is just for the sheer joy of those who, like me, enjoy some good epic fantasy!)
Icebreaker Ideas
One of the elements in the ELF Map, and an important ingredient in developing learning experiences that are experiential and relational, is an initial activity to "break the ice" between fellow learners. Ideas for such icebreakers are abundantly available on the internet, but a couple sample ideas are suggested here.

Content Presentation
While the lecture-with-Powerpoint instructional method may seem to have a low priority within the educational approach advocated here, there are nevertheless portions of the instructional process which demand the presentation of course content in an efficient and engaging way. Powerpoint can provide that in some contexts, but an alternative is provided through Prezi, which is demonstrated and introduced here.
